KINGSTON, ONT. (September 24 2011) – The Gaels (3-1-1) ended in a 2-2 draw versus the Ryerson Rams (2-1-2) this Saturday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.
After a scoreless first half,
Nathan Klemencic, of Trenton, Ont. scored in the 50th minute to put the Gaels ahead. Only six minutes later, Klemencic kicked in another. The Gaels were looking strong as the match continued late into the game.
In the 65th minute, the Rams were able to connect on a goal of their own. The Gaels were able to hang onto the lead for another fifteen minutes, until the Rams scored again. The Gaels were not able to score again and the match ended in a 2-2 draw, the first of the season for the Gaels.
The Gaels are back in action tomorrow afternoon versus the University of Toronto (2-1-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 3:15pm.
