Kingston, ONT. (September 24, 2011) – The No.4 ranked Gaels (5-0-0) continued their season dominance this Saturday afternoon against the Ryerson Rams (1-4-1) at Richardson Stadium. Alexandria, Ont. native Riley Fillion led the way with an early strike.
The Gaels began the game on the offensive. In the 12th minute, Fillion scored to put the Gaels on top. The score remained 1-0 for the rest of the first half.
In the second half
Kelli Chamberlain, of North Bay, Ont. kicked in another goal for the Gaels, giving them room to breathe.
Chantel Marson of London, Ont. recorded her fourth shutout of the season.
The Gaels play again tomorrow afternoon squaring off against the University of Toronto on their home field. Kickoff is set for 4:15 pm.
