KINGSTON, ONT. (September 16, 2011) – The No. 4 ranked Gaels (4-0-0) showed their resiliency this Friday afternoon against Royal Military College (1-2-0) at Tindall Field. Entering halftime down 1-0, the Gaels came back with three goals in the second half to secure their fourth straight victory.
RMC was ahead 1-0 going into half, but the Gaels came out with a full head of steam. Kelli Chamberlain of North Bay, Ont. led the charge with a quick goal.
Riley Fillon of Alexandria, Ont. added another to put the Gaels on top, and Breanna Burton of Ottawa added some security with the third goal.
The Gaels will not have much down time as they play again tomorrow afternoon in Peterborough against the Trent Excalibur. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
