The Gaels started out the season on a torrid pace winning their first three games of the season, which included a 2-0 win in their season opener in Ottawa against the Carleton Ravens who were the eventual OUA East first place team. First year Toronto native
Peter Christidis started his Gaels career off in style as he lead the team with five goals in his 12 games this season.
Patrick Zanetti of Carp, Ont. and
Nathan Klemencic of Trenton, Ont. rounded out the top three goal scorers with four each. The team allowed 16 goals this season good for fifth best in the OUA.
After finishing the season in fourth place in the OUA East division the Gaels drew the fifth place Laurentian Voyageurs in their opening playoff match. It would be the third time in five games that the two teams met with both regular season matches ending in draws. After the two teams traded second half goals the game went to penalty kicks where the Voyageurs converted on five to the Gaels four thus ending their season.
Four Gaels were named to the OUA All-Star team, including Joe Zupo of Toronto who was named the Gaels only first team all-star.
David Tom of Thunder Bay, Ont.,
Jordan Brooks of Angus, Ont. and Christidis took spots on the second-team. It was the second time being honoured for both Zupo and Brooks while Christidis was honoured after scoring five goals in his rookie season.
