KINGSTON, Ont. (November 15, 2011) - With a 2011 CIS women's soccer trophy being added to the trophy case, the Gaels put a winning wrap on the fall sport season. Looking ahead, the Gaels winter squads will look to pick up some hardware of their own as each team is now progressing towards the middle of their regular season. This week's home schedule features plenty of action on the volleyball court as well as on the ice, with both Volleyball squads and Men's hockey in town for games.

The Gaels return to the ARC for their first homestand of this young season. After four straight games on the road, both the men's and women's teams will be hoping that the friendly confines of Main Gym will bring success on the court. The women's team enters the weekend in fourth place in the OUA with a 4-2 record for eight points which puts them ahead of McMaster who boast a 3-3 record coming into the weekend. The men's squad will look to get back to .500 after their tough road trip. Saturday's McMaster showdown could be an OUA Championship preview as both teams were favourites coming into the season. The Marauders currently sit four points ahead of the Gaels with a 4-2 record.
