No. 8 Gaels come up short against No. 2 Gryphons

| By:
KINGSTON, Ont. (October 22, 2011) - The No. 8 Queen's Gaels fell short of their quest to return to the CIS Championships as they dropped a 50-0 score to the No. 2 Guelph Gryphons.

The Gaels fought hard in the game but simply couldn't catch their break as their opponents were just two much. The Gryphons accumulated their points on the strength of eight tries and five conversions in the match. Jacey Murphy of Alliston, Ont. led the way for the Gryphons with three tries of her own.

The Gaels will look to regroup and claim the OUA bronze next weekend as they will take on the Brock Badgers in the OUA Bronze Medal game. The game will take place at 1:00 pm on October 29 in Kingston.
