Ravens double up Gaels 4-2

| By:
KINGSTON, Ont. (October 1, 2011) - The Queen's Gaels lost 4-2 on Saturday afternoon to the No. 7 Carleton Ravens (7-2-0) at Richardson Stadium.

The Ravens set the pace scoring early and often in the first half with goals in the 6th, 13th and 26th minutes.

Queen's managed to cut the lead to only one with quick second half strikes from Nathan Klemencic of Trenton Ont. and Patrick Zanetti of Carp, Ont. but the Ravens' Samuel Mchugh of Russell, Ont. would complete the hat trick and put the game out of reach for the Gaels.

Marshal Peacock of Toronto started in net for the Gaels making 11 saves on the day.

Queen's will travel to Toronto next Saturday to take on the Varsity Blues at 3:15pm.
