Brienna Shaw of Vancouver, B.C., scored two first half goals to lead the No. 7 Queen's Gaels to a 4-0 victory over the Laurentian Lady Vees at Richardson Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Shaw scored the Gaels first goal as she converted a penalty kick midway through the first half. Shaw would score her second goal in the final minutes of the half to give the Gaels a two goal lead at halftime.
Jennifer Hutchison of St. John's, Nfld., was able to put one past the keeper in a scramble in front of the net early in the second half to increase the Gaels' lead to three. Jacqueline Tessier of Winnipeg, Man., scored on an open net to round out the scoring.
