TORONTO (January 29, 2010) – The Queen's Gaels snapped a two game losing skid earning a 3-1 victory over the Ryerson Rams in OUA men's volleyball action on Friday night in Toronto.
Joren Zeeman of Cambridge, Ont., was the game's top scorer scoring 17 points with 15 kills, two service aces and three digs. Zeeman had a 36% kill ratio in the win over the Rams.
Niko Rukavina of Mississauga, Ont., had 11 points while
Michael Amoroso of Toronto tallied 10.

Dan Rosenbaum of Hamilton, Ont., registered 22 assists in three matches while
Jackson Dakin of Courtenay, B.C., played in two sets tallying 16 assists.
Chris McLaughlin of Ottawa was Ryerson's leading scorer with 15 points on 13 kills and two blocks.
Queen's edged the Rams 25-16 in the opening match, losing the second set 19-25 and then dusted the Rams by the score of 25-15 and 25-22 to win the game in four sets.
With the win the Gaels improve to 11-4 and sit in third place of the OUA behind Western and McMaster. Western leads the league with 26 points and a 13-1 record, while McMaster has 24 points with a 12-2 record. Windsor is in fourth place with 18 points.
Queen's has the remainder of the weekend off and will tangle with the first place Western Mustangs next Friday (Feb 5.) in the new Main Gym of the Athletics & Recreation Centre at Queen's University. The game is scheduled for an 8:00pm start.
