Gaels extend winning streak to three games with victory over RMC

KINGSTON, Ont. (September 26, 2009) – Riley Filion of Alexandria, Ont. scored early in the second half to give the Queen's Gaels a 3-1 victory over the RMC Paladins in Women's Soccer action Saturday afternoon.

After Renee MacLellan of Kingston, Ont. and Laura Gray traded goals in the first half, Filion gave the Gaels a lead they would not relinquish just four minutes into the second half.

Angela Sullivan of Scarborough, Ont. sealed Queen's third straight victory with a goal from the penalty spot 24 minutes from time.

Chantel Marson of London, Ont. picked up the victory for the Gaels.

The Women will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host the Trent Excalibur at Richardson Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
