KINGSTON, Ont. (September 26, 2009) – The Queen's Men's Soccer team picked up their third victory of the season on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the RMC Paladins by a score of 1-0.
The Gaels used an early goal from
Jordan Brooks of Angus, Ont. to pick up the victory. Brooks' goal came just 11 minutes into the contest.
Sean Martin-Courtright of Calgary, Alta., who had missed the Gaels' last two contests, was solid in his return to the net as he made six saves in picking up the shutout.
Queen's will be back home tomorrow afternoon when they host the Trent Excalibur at Richardson Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:15 pm.
