| By:
TORONTO, Ont. (September 20, 2009) - The Queen's Women's Rugby team dominated the York Lions on Sunday afternoon winning by a score of 40-0.

With an impenetrable defence, the Gaels spent the majority of the game in the Lions' half. Tries were scored by Shauna Geerts, Emily Stern, Karlye Wong and Andrea Wadsworth. Peggy-Rae Carswell added one conversion and one penalty goal.

Wadsworth of Toronto Ont. is continually proving to be an integral part of this team. Leading the game with 4 tries for Queen's, she is now 2nd in the OUA in total points.

Next Saturday, September 26th, the Gaels will play the McMaster Marauders at Queen's University's Kingston Field where both teams will be fighting to hold onto their undefeated season.
