Ottawa (February 14, 2009) - Queen's men's basketball dropped their tenth straight game on Saturday falling 100-64 to the No.3 ranked Ottawa Gee Gees.
Baris Ondul of Istanbul, Turkey led the Gaels in points, assists, and rebounds, finishing with 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
Nick Didonato of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., also collected five rebounds and hit 13 points in the loss.
Josh Gibson Bascombe of Toronto led the Gee Gees with 23 points while teammate Dax Dessureault of Ottawa also hit 20 plus points netting 22.
The Gaels are currently is tied for fifth in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) east-division with York. Laurentian is sitting on the outside just two points behind the Gaels and Lions and will face York on the final weekend of regular season action.
Queen's returns to Kingston next Saturday, February 21, to finish out the 2008-09 regular season as they square off against their cross-town rivals the Royal Military College (RMC). Game time scheduled for 8:00pm at RMC.
