TROIS RIVIERES, Que. (November 6, 2009) – The UQTR Patriotes scored a powerplay goal with less than five minutes to play in the third period to earn a 4-3 victory over the Queen's Gaels.

After the Gaels fell behind 3-1, they stormed back in the third period thanks to goals from Stephane Chabot of Rockland, Ont. and Payton Liske of Welland, Ont., his second of the game. Chabot's first career CIS goal came just 12 seconds into the third period on the powerplay to jump-start Queen's.

Despite the comeback, a costly penalty with 5:08 remaining in the game came back to haunt the Gaels as Francis Charland notched his second of the contest.

Mackenzie Ball of Shannonville, Ont., made 27 saves for Queen's in the loss.

The Gaels will be back in action on Wednesday, November 11 when they travel across town to take on their rivals, the RMC Paladins. Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm.
