LONDON, Ont. (November 21, 2009) – Queen's women's basketball record dropped to 3-3 after a 66-53 loss to the Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon in London, Ont.
Erin Skippon of Kelowna, B.C., recorded 13 points and four rebounds in the loss while
Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont. posted 10 points. Moore was a disappointing 4 for 13 from the field playing against a well rested Mustang team who did not play Friday night. The Gaels were playing in their second game in less than 19 hours.
Jill Wheat of Marwayne, Alta was Queen's top rebounder with 11.
Western's Amanda Anderson of Chatham, Ont., scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Mustangs to their fourth victory of the season.
Next week the Gaels travel to Guelph to take on the Gryphons on November 27th. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00pm
