ST CATHARINES, Ont. (October 18, 2009) – The Queen's men's rugby squad dusted the Brock Badgers 32-3 to remain unbeaten with just one game to play in the 2009 regular season.

The Gaels (7-0) remain as the only undefeated team in Ontario and are tied for first place with the Western Mustangs who hold a 7-1 record for 35 points. The Gaels defeated Western earlier this month in London and have a game in hand on the Mustangs.

Ryan Kruyne of Dunrobin, Ont. led the game in points with three conversions and two penalty goals. Kruyne currently sits atop the OUA in total points with 82 well ahead of second place James Stewart from Laurier who has 62.

Scott Kyle of Singapore, Patrick Richardson of Vancouver, Liam Underwood of Toronto, and Graeme Whyte of Whitby, Ont each recorded a try in the victory over Brock.

Queen's closes the regular season on October 24th hosting the Laurier Golden Hawks (4-3) with kickoff scheduled for 1:00pm at Kingston Field on campus.
