Soccer (M): Queen's plays to a draw with Nipissing
Nipissing, Ont. (September 13, 2008) – Queen's men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon to move their record to 1-1-1 on the season.
Andrew Jarvis of Thunder Bay, Ont., was Queen's lone scorer opening the contest up at the 31 minute. Mike Hamilton of North Bay, Ont. scored for Nipissing at the 51st minute of in the second half to earn the tie.
The Gaels keep their record at .500 and move into a tie for third place with Ryerson and Laurentian making tomorrow's match-up against Laurentian a pivotal early season match-up. Queen's will contend against Laurentian at 1:00pm in Sudbury, Ont.
