Five in a row for the Gaels

15 set winning streak for the Gaels

Kingston, Ont. (November 26, 2008) - Queen's extends their winning streak to five games with a victory over cross-town-rivals the Royal Military College(RMC) Wednesday night.

Joren Zeeman of Cambridge, Ont. and Bryan Faultey of Oakville, Ont. both had 11 points as the Gaels took the game in three straight sets 25- 14, 25-21, and 25-14. Zeeman would hit 11 kills and three digs, while Faultey served up four aces and seven kills.

Queen's took the first set quite easily but RMC would have a strong second set. Philip Gulajski was RMC's leading scorer hitting 12 kills and two assist. Queen's would still come out on top despite the effort by RMC, and take the game 3-0.

Queen's has now gone 15 sets without a loss and moves to 8-2 on the season. Queen's will resume regular season play after the exam break on January 10 against the No.2 nationally ranked Master Marauders. McMaster sits a top the OUA with Queen's right behind them in second. Game time is set for 2:00pm at the Bartlett Gymnasium.
