Thunder Bay, Ont. (November 21, 2008) - A close game all the way into the final quarter saw Queen's fall to the Lakehead Thunderwolves 72-62.
Queen's was only down by three going into the fourth but could not mount the comeback as they were outscored 22-15 in the final frame.
Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont., would lead the Gaels with 21 points and go a perfect four-for-four from the foul line while veteran
Anne Murphy of Milford, Ont. would record 10 points and six rebounds.
Queen's will travel to McMaster tomorrow and will aim to move above the .500 mark as they slip to 3-3 on the season. Game time is scheduled for 6:00pm.
