Thunder Bay, Ont. (November 21, 2008) - Tim Boyle of Belleville, Ont. would score a season high, 18 points and six rebounds but could not help the Gaels pull off the victory as they fall 88-70 to the Lakehead Thunderwolves.
Queen's would battle hard throughout the game but Thunderwolve's Kyle McConnell of London, Ont. would hit eight three pointers and finish with 24 points to give Lakehead the victory.
Mitch Leger of Kingston, Ont. also came up with offensive points for the Gaels hitting 17 points. Queen's would get strong play in the paint from rookie
Bernard Burgesson of Port Hawkbury, N.S. who had six defensive along with three offensive rebounds.
Queen's record falls to 2-3 on the season and will travel to McMaster tomorrow night. Game time is scheduled for 8:00pm.
