Brady Morrison of Thamesville, Ont. made 31 saves in net but the Gaels could not capitalize as they lost to the University of Toronto 2-0.
First period goals from Stephen Duffy of Toronto and Kyle Ventura of Scarborough, Ont. was all it took as the Varsity Blues netted the win.
Queen's was 0 for 4 on the power play and came out slow in the first being outshot 16-5 in the opening frame. This is the third time this season the Gaels have been unable to register a goal
The Gaels are now 1-1 against Toronto who is a division rival and will be one of the main contenders for a OUA Mid-East playoff position this year. With the loss Queen's moves one point behind Toronto for top position in the Mid-East division.
