Colosimo scores twice in 5-0 victory

Kingston, Ont. (October 4, 2008) – Andrew Colosimo of Thunder Bay, Ont. scored twice as the Queen's Gaels defeated Royal Military College (RMC) 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Gaels had been struggling offensively season, but exploded against the Paladins tallying four goals in the first half and added an insurance goal in the second. Other scorers for the Gaels included Jordan Brooks of Angus, Ont., Dylan Haber of Toronto and Daniel McBride of Kingston.

With the victory, the Gaels break a three game winless streak. The last time the Gaels won was on September 17 when they defeated RMC 1-0. Queen's also maintains its perfect 10-0-0 record against RMC since the Paladins joined the OUA in 2004.

The Gaels are in fourth place of the OUA East Division with 11 points and a 3-4-2 record. On Sunday, the Gaels will play Trent in Peterborough, Ont. beginning at 1:00pm.
