Windsor, Ont. (October 5, 2008) - On Sunday, Queen's turned their attention to Windsor but were unable to get the victory falling 5-3.
Windsor opened the scoring just 1:47 into the game, posting a power play goal which pushed the Gaels back on their heals.
The Gaels got on the board with a short-handed goal from Kelsey Thompson of Martintown, Ont. at the 7:33 of the first.

Windsor then exploded for three unanswered goals to take a the lead 4-2 going into the final period. The third period was a back and forth battle and Thompson scored her second of the game with just under three minutes to play in the game.
Head Coach Harold Parsons pulled net minder
Melissa John of Unionville, Ont. in an effort to tie the game, but Windsor's Ashley Drouillard of Tecumeseh, Ont. added the empty net goal to finish the Gaels 5-3.
Queen's is now 1-1 on the season and will travel to Toronto next Saturday to take on the Varsity Blues. The game is scheduled for 7:30pm.
