Kingston, Ontario (October 31, 2008) - Men's rugby will put their undefeated season on the line against the Western Mustangs Saturday in the OUA Semi-final.
Last weekend the Gaels were victorious over the Toronto Varsity Blues 70-3 in the Quarter-finals, while Western blanked the Guelph Gryphons 45-0.
Scott Kyle of Singapore scored three tries against the Varsity Blues, while
Chris Barrett of Vancouver and
Graeme Whyte of Whitby, Ont. contributed two tries last weekend and will look to have a repeat performance this weekend against the Mustangs.
Queen's have been dominating out scoring their opponents 414 to 82 this season. Western broke Queens' chance of a perfect season, posting a 12-12 tie back in September so the Gaels are looking for revenge.
This is also a repeat from last season's OUA Semi-finals as the Mustangs were defeated by Queen's 18-13.
The winner will travel to Fletcher's Field in Markham, Ont. to face the winner of McMaster and Brock in the OUA Championship. Kick-off for this Saturday's game is at 1:00pm at Kingston Field.
