Kingston, Ont. (October 25, 2008) - Brady Morrison of Thamesville, Ont. had his shutout bid snapped in the third period, but still led the Queen's Gaels to a 4-1 victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues.

Morrison stopped all but one of the 38 shots he faced, at times making acrobatic saves.

The Gaels got on the board early and often, with two goals in the first 5 minutes, coming from Billy Burke of Aurora, Ont. and David Chubb of St. George, Nfld. Chubb later added an assist on a goal by captain Jonathan Lawrance of Steinbach, Man.

The bright spot for the Varsity Blues was Kyle Venture of Scarborough, Ont. who picked up a third period goal.

Queen's added a late empty net goal from Scott Kenway of Calgary, Alta. to secure the Gaels third victory of the season, bringing their record to 3-3-1.

The game marked the end of a two game home stand in which the Gaels went 1-1. The team goes on the road for their next four games before returning to the Kingston Memorial Centre for a game against Ottawa on November 14th.
