Mel Dodd-Moher of Stittsville, Ont., helped the No. 9 Queen’s Gaels clinch second place in the OUA and the all-important first round playoff bye this weekend. The first year biology major opened her weekend with a 31-save shutout performance against the Windsor Lancers, a team that had won four games in-a-row prior to playing the Gaels. On Sunday against Western, Dodd-Moher allowed just one goal as the Gaels officially clinched the second seed with a 4-1 victory. The rookie goaltender now has three shutouts on the season to go along with 13 victories and has posted a 1.76 GAA and a 0.944 save percentage.
