Elizabeth Kench of Gananoque, Ont., vaulted her way to the top of the OUA scoring race with a five point weekend against UOIT. On Saturday, the fourth year history major had a goal and an assist as the Gaels picked up a 4-3 overtime win. She followed that up with a three assist performance on Sunday as the Gaels won 5-2. Kench now leads the OUA in scoring with 32 points on the season and her 22 assists are the most of any women’s hockey player in the CIS.
