Danny Brannagan of Burlington, Ont., outdueled Michael Faulds and the No. 5 Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon as the No. 4 Queen’s Gaels earned a thrilling 27-26 victory. The accounting major completed 35 of 53 pass attempts for 436 yards and two touchdowns while engineering the game winning drive in the final minute. Brannagan connected with Blaise Morrision on a 30 yard catch-and-run touchdown with 13 seconds left to secure the win. The fifth year pivot has passed for 2,290 yards this season and is now just 31 yards behind the CIS all-time passing record.
