Backup netminder Karissa Savage of Calgary recorded her second victory of the season as the Gaels defeated No. 5 nationally ranked Guelph Gryphons 3-1 on Sunday. Savage, a rookie with the Gaels this season, has played in only four games this year allowing three goals on 103 shots. She also had a 108 minute goalless streak going (five periods) before allowing a goal against Guelph. She finished with 28 saves in the victory.
