Veronica Carty (Kingston, Ont.) finished with three gold medals over the weekend to help the women’s track team to a second place finish at the St. Lawrence University Indoor Classic held in Canton, N.Y. Catry was a part of a podium sweep for the Gaels in the women’s 55-metre dash leading the way with a time of 7.44 seconds. Catry in her second year with Queen’s, also secured a gold medal in the 200-metre event and helped the Gaels capture the 4x200 event.
