Liz Boag (Kingston, Ont.) of the women’s basketball team is the Queen’s University Female Athlete of the Week. The third-year point guard led the Gaels as they gained a split of their final two games prior to the Christmas break. In Friday’s loss to top-ranked Windsor, Boag scored 18 points to lead the Gaels. In Saturday’s she scored nine points and made a career-high 11 assists as the Gaels dumped the Western Mustangs 72-53.
