Morgan McHaffie (Guelph, Ont.) of the women’s hockey team is the Queen’s University Female Athlete of the Week. The fourth-year forward scored three points to lead the No. 5-ranked Gaels to two wins over the weekend, 4-0 over Toronto on Friday and 3-0 over Ryerson on Saturday. On Friday, she was a force in the Gaels’ win over Toronto, and assisted on the game’s final goal. On Saturday, she scored twice, including a highlight-reel goal while sliding towards the net as the Gaels won their 13th game in 15 starts.
