Jackie Tessier (Winnipeg, Man.) is the Queen’s University Female Athlete of the Week. The fourth-year striker led the No. 6-ranked Gaels to a pair of wins over the weekend with four goals in two games. On Saturday, she scored a hat trick in the Gaels’ win over the Nipissing Lakers, including a pair of goals that gave Queen’s a 2-0 lead. On Sunday, her goal was the finishing touch in the Gaels’ 4-1 defeat of the Laurentian Lady Vees.
