McLaughlin was named the 2010-11 recipient of the Marion Ross Trophy as the top fourth or fifth year female Varsity Club athlete. A three-time OUA First Team All-Star, McLaughlin led the women's lacrosse team to two OUA silver and one OUA bronze medal during her four year career. In 2008-09, she was named the OUA Most Valuable Offensive Player and has been a co-coach for the past two seasons.
