Kelsey Thomson of Martintown, Ont., put on an offensive display this weekend as the Queen’s Gaels earned two big wins over rivals Toronto and York. Friday night, the fifth year consecutive education major scored two goals, including the game winner, and added two assists as the Gaels won 6-1 over the Varsity Blues. Saturday, Thomson continued to light the lamp as she netted her first hat-trick of the year in a 6-2 victory over the Lions. Thomson’s seven point weekend vaults her into third in the OUA in scoring with 24 points (13 G, 11 A) on the season.
