Alexi Pianosi of Halifax, scored his first career CIS hat-trick this weekend in a 6-4 loss to the McGill Redmen as Queen’s celebrated 125 years of hockey. Pianosi, a rookie defenceman who played his junior hockey in the QMJHL with Moncton, Victoriaville and Val d’Or, now has four goals on the season, tying him with Scott Kenway of Calgary, for the team lead. The first year kinesiology major is also tied for the team lead in points with seven.
