Natalie Gray of Oshawa, Ont., recorded consecutive double-doubles over the weekend as the Gaels defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues and Brock Badgers to open the 2010-11 OUA women’s volleyball season. Gray was impressive in the 3-1 season opener victory against Toronto recording a game high 19 points including 16 kills and three aces.

She contributed on defence with 19 digs.  On Saturday against Brock, she tallied 18 points on 17 kills and one service ace.  She also had 15 of the Gaels 105 digs in that game.   Her effort helped Queen’s start the OUA season 2-0.

This is Gray’s second career Athlete of the Week award having won it last January.
