Justin Chapdelaine of Abbotsford, B.C., threw four touchdowns and scored another on the ground as the Queen's Gaels qualified for the playoffs in a lopsided 52-14 win over the York Lions. Chapdelaine completed 31 of 40 passes for 448 yards and spread the ball around hitting four different receivers for touchdowns.  The second-year quarterback also made a touchdown saving tackle midway through the second quarter after a Gaels receiver fumbled on the Lions one-yard line.

Chapdelaine finishes the regular season leading OUA starting quarterbacks in completion percentage with 63.9% and ranks third in yards with 1,878.  The win also gives Queen’s a chance to defend its Yates Cup and Vanier Cup championship crowns having qualified for the OUA playoffs.

Tune in to 98.9 The Drive on Friday morning to hear Justin or Natalie Gray on the air with Jim and Jen from the Morning Rush.
