Roberts was named the winner of the Alfie Pierce Trophy as female rookie of the year. Roberts led the Gaels to a 23-1 record and the OUA Championship title while being named the OUA Rookie of the Year and a first team all-star. She accomplished all this while going head-to-head with her opponents top players as the Gaels #1 athlete.
