A message from Head Coach Pat Sheahan
Never before has support for student-athletes been more integral to success in university football. Alumni and team supporters from across the country are bonding together to help our gifted athletes defray the rising costs to attend university and play varsity football. The sacrifices these young men make to play are substantial due in large part to lost earnings, training, travel and numerous soft costs associated with training and competing at this high level sport.
In addition, the recruiting of high performance athletes is pivotal to a program’s success and the environment is becoming increasingly competitive. Our ability to attract the best athletes is contingent upon offering competitive programs on and off the field of play, as well as finding ways to help our student-athletes defray costs related to their participation. Quite simply - our success in recruiting will determine our ability to compete nationally.
I invite you to be a “Tri-colour Supporter” by adopting a Gael - I assure you that supporting one of our athletes will be one of the best things you ever do! One hundred percent of your donation goes back to supporting our athletes and helping us achieve our goal of hoisting the Vanier Cup and bringing it back to Kingston.
