Season Media  & Photo Credentials
An application for season media & photo credentials will be available in August of each year.  If you are interested in applying for a season media or photo credential please return to this site for further details at that time.

Media Credentials

Media credentials for all Queen’s University home sporting events should be made in writing (via e-mail) to Communications and Sports Information Officer at least 24 hours prior to game time. For a full season media pass, please complete the this form before August 31st.

Please note credentials are only issued to working media. Credentials must be displayed while on site and can be revoked by the Athletics and Recreation Department at any time.

Photo Credentials
Photo credentials for all Queen’s University home sporting events should be made in writing (via e-mail) to the Communications and Sports Information Officer at least 24 hours prior to game time. A full season photo pass is also available upon request.

Please note credentials are only issued to working photographers. Credentials must be displayed while on site and can be revoked by the Sports Information Officer at any time. Photographers wishing to have access to the perimeter of the playing surface must wear an additional Queen’s photographer identification. 

Media Seating
Space for media is limited. However, the Sports Information Office will do its best to accommodate all working media. To ensure your spot, please contact Sports Information at least 24 hours prior to game time. Seating is reserved on a first-contact, first-served basis.

Interviews
Interviews with Queen’s University athletes, coaches and or staff can be arranged anytime by contacting Communications & Sports Information Officer at comm.sio@queensu.ca or by phone at 613.533.6000 x 77369; cell: 613.484.6763.

Queen’s will not provide contact numbers for athletes without the concent of the respective athlete. Please do not contact athletes or coaches at their home unless previously arranged through the Sports Information Office.

Pre Game and Half Time Interviews (Game Day)
Broadcast Media looking to arrange pre-game and halftime interviews with coaches or players must make the request by contacting the Sports Information Office staff 24 hours prior to the game. Every effort will be made to accommodate all requests however we can not guarentee availablity of athletes or coaches on game day. Live Host Broadcast officials will be given preference. 

Post Game Interviews (Football)
Following the game, Head Coaches and selected athletes for both the home and visiting teams will be made available to the media 10 minutes following the final play in a pre-designated area. This area will be communicated to members of the media prior to the game.

If you would like to speak with a player post-game please inform the Sports Information Staff onsite and your request will be accommodated. Every effort will be made to fulfil reasonable requests.

Post Game Interviews (Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey)
Following the game players will be made available to the media 10 minutes following the final play in a pre-designated area. This area will be communicated to members of the media prior to the game.

If you would like to speak with a player post-game please inform the Sports Information Staff onsite and your request will be accommodated. Every effort will be made to fulfil reasonable requests.

Media Relations Services
A weekly roundup of upcoming schedule and results is released to the media via e-mail every Monday. To be added to this list please contact the Sports Information Officer at comm.sio@queensu.ca. Media will also receive post-game results and information when added to this list.
