Gaels rowers compete at national rowing championship

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. (October 12, 2015) - A number of Gaels were competing over the weekend at the Canadian national rowing championships in St. Catharines, Ontario and saw strong finishes.

Larkin Davenport Huyer missed out on the A Final but finished strong in the B Final taking first place and seventh overall. Her performance was also the second best by a U23 athlete. 

Another B Final strong showing came from Stephen Holloway and Mark Bonar in the men's pair as they finished first in the B Final and seventh overall for the event.

Queen's grad Michelle Truax finished with a 3rd place finish in the women's pair.
