Former Gaels football offensive guard and current TSN SportsCentre host Rod Smith will be one of the guest speakers at this year's Friends of Football dinner and dance on February 8, 2014.

The dinner this year is at Montecassino Place in Toronto and will feature an italian five course meal and silent auction full of wonderful items. Bus service is available to Toronto leaving from the ARC and returning that evening. The event will feature friends, alumni and family while supporting the Queen's Football Club.

Guest MC: Rod Smith from TSN - Smith hosts the 6pm et edition of SportsCentre, Canada's most watched sports news and information show. Before his role on SportsCentre, Smith anchored TSN's studio coverage of CFL football and baseball. A former offensive guard for the Queen's Gaels, Smith also served as play-by-play commentator on TSN's CFL coverage.

Guest Speaker: Troy McAllister - Troy McAllister played and coached for current Gaels head coach Pat Sheahan over ten years ago. He went on to build a football program at a Chicago inner-city school as the current head coach.
