KINGSTON, Ont. (July 23, 2010) – Two members of the Queen's rowing team will be suiting up for Canada next month at the 2010 FISU World University Rowing Championships in Szeged, Hungary.
Third year rower
Sarah Pidgen of Orillia, Ont., and fifth year rower
Greg McNally of Carlisle, Ont., will join fellow university rowers from across Canada as they compete against crews from around the world from August 13 to 15.
Pidgen will row as a member of the women's four boat, consisting of Larissa Lagzdins from Brock University, Lacey Crawley from the University of Victoria, and Audra Vair from the University of British Columbia.
McNally joins the men's four boat which also consists of Patrick O'Connor and Keegan Drummond from Brock University as well as Mike Mason from the University of Victoria.
